In all seasons you can enjoy horseback riding in Borovets, one of the most scenic ways to see the countryside. Worthwhile is to spend at least several hours on the saddle, enjoying the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Near Lake Iskar there are famous stables. You can head for a walk with horse not only around the lake, but also in the mountains, with qualified instructors. They will take you to breathtaking mountain trails into the woods around the resort. There are tours on horseback for 1, 2 or 3 hours. Open by appointments are organized overnight trips. Four day trip, organized by the stables stuff, is a truly amazing experience - the march passes through Lake Iskar, the Seven Rila Lakes and Rila Monastery.
You might also enjoy sleigh, pulled by horse or carriage, ride by horses that ride you in the resort, or the Royal Palace Bistrita.
